Israel's future ?
When President Jimmy Carter, President Anwar al-Sadat of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Menachem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel signed the Camp David Accord in September 1978; it put all three Nations on a course with destiny that is playing out in Europe Today
Parts of the Camp David Accord stipulate US assistance to Egypt primarily in Military Equipment, Supplies and Training, which we subsidize at $ 2 Billion annually,
as well as pledging to accept a pre-determined number of immigrants from Egypt to the US - we are told that number is 90,000 ?
Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak was appointed Vice President of Egypt in 1975, and assumed the Presidency on October 14, 1981, following the assassination of President Anwar El Sadat and he has been Ruler/Dictator ever since then.
Fast Forward - we, Egypt and Israel have been shuffling this shell game around for 32+ years and have done absolutely nothing about creating an open democracy in Egypt which Jimmy Carter hailed as his crowning achievement ?
Now, Obama says he has no choice but allow Muslim Brotherhood significant contribution in the re-alignment process of Egypt - that is NOT good for Israel's Future, and a total sellout by Obama, as far as we are concerned !!!!
here is Eric Bolen with panel of Dr Zuhdi Jasser, Robert Spencer and Michael Scheuer frustrated with the question "who is going to take over when Mubarak leaves , whether that be tomorrow or in September "as planned" ?
why do we keep making this same mistake every time ? - prop up the ruthless dictator, buy his "loyalty" (as in extortion) then throw him under the bus when the people revolt but don't send them any help and have no plan for orderly transition ? why Carter, why Reagan, why Bush 41, why Clinton ? why Bush 43 ? why Obama ?
update - when Obama did his "blame America apology tour" of the mideast last year, he made a deal with Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas to sit at the peace table with Israel and in return we (your and my tax dollars) would send millions in aid and allocate 80,000 immigration slots - the deal was struct ...
last month - Abbas and Palestine abruptly walk out of the peace talks - do we get our money back ? does my new jihad neighbor have to go back to palestine ?
www.Group912.org/egypt-israel.html - nobody knows who will fill the vacuum
